I officially announce the Broken Heart Blogfest.
March 13-15th
(Thanks for the image, Mia. You're Awesomesauce!)
Pretty simple to interpret. I considered going horror, or break up but figured the broken heart would be more open to interpretation and different genres. It can be flash fiction, poetry, non-fiction, anything except 5,000 words cause umm, that's a little too long and I probably won't comment on it. Shorter tends to be better for me when it comes to reading on the computer. Anyways, the basic idea is to write about a heart breaking or one that is already broken. Show us the wretched emotions, the anger, depression, fear, whatever happens after the happy honeymooon lovey-dove V-day stuff is over and all that is left is a broken heart.
The "Rules":
1. Sign up on the linky thing located below.
2. Try to sign up before the 15th, if possible.
3. Post your entry on your blog along with a link to the blogfest.
4. Try to keep entries below 1,000 words if possible.
5. Read other people's entries and leave comments.
6. Eat ice cream and chocolate to feel better... okay, you don't have to do that if you don't want to. ;-)

Margo - I don't know how to do button stuff but now that Mia has made an image if you want to add it to a sidebar, it's available.
Jolene - Thanks for the comment. There's plenty of time to decide, so we'll see what happens. :-)
L'Aussie - any age group or genre. I'm actually more of an adult writer anyways. Have a couple YA but many of my novels and blogfest posts are fantasy or umm whatever Cinder Story falls into.
Ashy!!! - Yay!!! *hugs*
.........dhole
Donna - hehe. I am okay with lovey dovey but not for 5 in a row. So, yay for heart wrenching that will come in March. ;-)
Off now to break an MC's heart :-(

Margo - Why thank you. Mia was so kind to make the image for me.
Raquel - Glad I can help. :-D
caitpeterson - lol. Yeah, she even beat me to it. She was so excited about this.
F- Yay! I'm glad you're going to enter and look forward to it already.
Stu- Go ahead and make it funny. As long as you avoid mushy and sappy I am fine with that. I just need relief from all the happy romancy stuff from last month.
caitpeterson - wow. Three entries. That's awesome! I'm so glad the blogfest inspired you so much.
*waves hi to the blogfest newbies*
